The Blazar Remus 1.5X Anamorphic brings a true Cinemascope feel to your project – with characteristic flare, elegant oval bokeh and a rich 1.5x squeeze that makes full use of your full-frame sensor. The cinematic look the Remus creates is unmistakable: soft focus transitions, elegant oval blur and the iconic silver flare give every image a filmic depth that can hardly be reproduced in post.

With apertures of T2.0 (45 mm & 65 mm) and T2.8 (100 mm), the Remus set covers the key focal lengths for narrative, documentary and commercial productions – from the versatile normal angle to the classic portrait focal length. The 16-blade iris ensures an exceptionally round, filmic aperture at every stop.

All three focal lengths share the same 80 mm front diameter and a uniform 77 mm filter thread – a clear advantage on set, since filters and matte box setup don't need to be changed.
